Sociabl is a mobile application designed to help you build social confidence through AI-driven practice sessions and structured lessons. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our Service. Please read them carefully. By downloading, accessing, or using Sociabl, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and Acceptance

1.1. Eligibility. You must be at least 16 years old to use Sociabl. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

1.2. Acceptance. These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, form a binding agreement between you and Sociabl Inc. (“Sociabl,” “we,” or “us”). We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after updates indicates your acceptance.

2. Account Creation and Deletion

2.1. Sign-In Methods. Accounts are created exclusively via Sign in with Apple or Google. We do not collect passwords or profile photos.

2.2. Account Deletion. You may delete your account anytime via the app. We will remove or anonymize your personal and conversation data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

2.3. One Account Per Person. You may only maintain one active account at a time unless expressly permitted by us.

3. Use of the Service

3.1. Permitted Use. You may use Sociabl only for personal, non-commercial purposes and in compliance with these Terms and applicable laws.

3.2. Prohibited Conduct. You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, interfere with, or tamper with the app.

  • Use the Service to harass, harm, impersonate, or intimidate others.

  • Introduce malware or disrupt functionality in any way.

  • Use automated systems (e.g., bots, scrapers) to access the Service.


4. Subscriptions and Payment

4.1. Subscription Plans. Certain features require a paid subscription. Plan details and pricing are available in-app.

4.2. Billing. All payments are processed by the Apple App Store. You authorize charges to your App Store account per Apple’s terms.

4.3. Renewal & Cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You may cancel via your device’s subscription settings.

4.4. Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple. Please contact Apple Support for any refund inquiries.

5. Privacy and Data Use

5.1. Privacy Policy. By using Sociabl, you agree to our Privacy Policy, including how we collect, store, and use personal and interaction data to improve the app.

5.2. Data Handling. We may share limited data with trusted service providers (e.g., analytics platforms) under strict confidentiality obligations.

5.3. Data Localization. Where required by Canadian law, user data is stored and processed in accordance with applicable regulations.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1. Our Rights. All content in Sociabl—including text, audio, graphics, features, software, and branding—is the intellectual property of Sociabl Inc. or its licensors.

6.2. License to You. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable license to use Sociabl. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations

7.1. No Warranties. Sociabl is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantees about its performance, accuracy, or fitness for any purpose.

7.2. Not Medical Advice. The Service is not a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, or medical advice.

7.3. Limitation of Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sociabl and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability will not exceed the greater of CAD $50 or the amount you paid to us in the last 12 months.

8. Termination

8.1. By You. You may stop using Sociabl and delete your account at any time.

8.2. By Us. We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you breach these Terms or violate laws.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

9.1. Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada.

9.2. Dispute Resolution. Any dispute will be resolved by confidential, binding arbitration under Ontario’s Arbitration Act. The arbitration will take place in Toronto. You waive any right to class actions or jury trials, to the extent permitted by law.

10. General Terms

10.1. Entire Agreement. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the complete agreement between you and Sociabl regarding the Service.

10.2. Severability. If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the remainder still applies.
